Job summary

Midcoast Trucks in Macksville seeks an experienced Vehicle Reconditioning Inspection Team Manager to lead the inspection and logging of vehicles at our Macksville site. You will oversee the Log Team, coordinate with sales and parts, and ensure timely vehicle compliance and safety documentation.

The role requires a strong operational mindset, excellent Excel skills, and proven supervision of automotive or fleet operations. A Heavy Vehicle Licence and NHVR inspection qualification are mandatory.

Qualifications

Vehicle Reconditioning Inspection Team Manager

We are seeking an experienced and organisedTeam Supervisor for our vehicle inspection department to oversee the logging, tracking and compliance of vehicles, vehicle body equipment and material handling equipment across our Macksville operation. This role combines administration, team leadership and operational coordination within a busy environment. This position is located at our Head Office, 2 Centra Park Street, Macksville.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily logging and tracking of vehicles entering and exiting the site.
• Manage and support the Log Team, including task allocation and training.
• Maintain accurate vehicle records, work orders and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with other operation department, Sales and Parts teams to ensure vehicle priorities and customer deadlines are met.
• Monitor parts usage and ensure correct allocation to stock numbers.
• Maintain Trade Plate records and vehicle inspection documentation.
• Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and transport regulations.
• Provide reporting and updates to management as required.

About You
