Job summary

AVK Australia is expanding its sales team and seeks a Sales Consultant/Business Development Manager to grow our customer base and drive solutions across water, wastewater, civil infrastructure and industrial sectors.

You will engage customers, recommend products, and build lasting relationships while collaborating with internal teams to deliver accurate information and quotations. A strong track record in technical sales and CRM usage will be highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sales, technical sales, or customer-facing role in valves and repair clamps and couplings.
• Experience in valves and infrastructure projects e.g. civil water, wastewater, pipeline distribution networks and irrigation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, proactive and driven.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and managing customer opportunities.
• Knowledge of valves, flow control, civil water, plumbing, or irrigation products will be highly regarded.
• Valid driver’s licence.
