Job summary

AVK Australia is seeking a Sales Consultant/Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and build strong customer relationships across Australia. The role focuses on identifying customer needs, delivering tailored product recommendations, and providing exceptional service with a deep knowledge of AVK valves, fittings and irrigation products.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sales, technical sales, or customer-facing role in valves and repair clamps and couplings.
• Experience in valves and infrastructure projects e.g. civil water, wastewater, pipeline distribution networks and irrigation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and driven.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and managing customer opportunities.
• Knowledge of valves, flow control, civil water, plumbing, or irrigation products will be highly regarded.
• Valid driver’s licence.
