Job summary

SGCH in Sydney seeks a Vacancy Management Lead to oversee vacancy management, allocations and end-of-tenancy functions, ensuring homes are ready and allocated efficiently.

You will lead a team across tenancy, assets, maintenance and finance, using data analytics to drive performance and outcomes in a regulated not-for-profit housing environment. Travel to SGCH offices is required; hybrid work options may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex social or affordable housing operations including allocations, vacancy management, property readiness and end of tenancy services.
• Strong strategic, financial and stakeholder management skills in a regulated environment.
• Ability to lead and oversee experienced technical and operational staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead vacancy management strategy across allocations, end-of-tenancy and property readiness services.
• Drive vacancy performance, governance and service standards to minimise vacancy days.
• Oversee allocations ensuring fair, compliant and timely applicant matching and tenancy offers.
• Manage End of Tenancy budget, workforce planning and resources to meet targets.
• Analyse portfolio, demand and performance data to identify risks and improvements.
• Build partnerships with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders to support outcomes.
