Bupa Australia is hiring a Medical Receptionist to join our Urgent Care Centre and GP Practice in Sydney. You’ll be the first point of contact, greeting patients, managing bookings, handling payments and liaising with the care team to keep the clinic running smoothly.

In this fast-paced role you will need excellent organization, empathy and the ability to work independently on shift, delivering calm, helpful experiences for patients and visitors alike.

Competenze

• Previous GP Medical Receptionist experience is required.
• Best Practice experience is advantageous.
• Confidence in working as the only receptionist on shift.
• Greet patients and visitors professionally, register new patients and update information accurately in the clinic system.
• Handle appointment bookings efficiently and coordinate with medical staff for consultations, tests and follow-ups.
• Process payments, health insurance claims and billing inquiries with confidentiality.
• Keep reception area clean, organized and stocked with supplies.
• Monitor inventory and request supplies as needed.
• Demonstrate teamwork and effective communication with the general practice nursing team.
