Job summary

Underground Mining Alliance Ltd is seeking expressions of interest for skilled Shift Supervisors with strong underground development experience for upcoming works in Australia. The role operates on a 6 weeks on, 3 weeks off roster and includes leading and training national supervisors to a high level of proficiency.

Your responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, safety, planning, and crew management, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an underground shift supervisor role.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
• Valid Underground Shift Supervisors Ticket and current Driver's Licence.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of shift workers and equipment at an underground mine site.
• Ensure workers are trained and competent to perform duties safely and productively.
• Organise crews, rosters and day-to-day site activities.
• Conduct toolbox talks and daily work planning meetings.
• Submit incident reports to the Site Manager and monitor safety issues.
