Underground Mining Alliance Ltd (AUMS) is seeking an Experienced Underground Mine Foreman to join our African Operations with a strong background in managing large crews in underground development mining. The roster on offer is 6 weeks on and 4 weeks off.

You will coordinate activities of personnel, review schedules and geological records, ensure compliance with Mines Act and safety regulations, and supervise shift supervisors to deliver targets safely and to specifications.

Formación

• Minimum 10 years in underground hard rock mining.
• 4+ years in foreman or superintendent role.
• Ability to coordinate activities and schedule labour.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in underground mining.
• Review data such as schedules, plans, survey reports to plan mine development.
• Adhere to mining laws and safety regulations and issue directives to workers.
• Review and consolidate safety and production records.
• Supervise Underground Shift Supervisors and assist with planning of mining activities.
• Liaise with client contacts to ensure targets are met safely and to spec.
• Act as relief/alternate Site Manager during absences.
• Coordinate manpower, rosters and annual leave scheduling.
