Job summary

Marble Group, a well-known underground mining contractor, is seeking paste crew operators for a large hard rock operation in Central NSW. This long-term role offers a lifestyle-friendly 2:2 roster, 12‑hour shifts, and accommodation with meals provided, plus DIDO/FIFO options.

Start as casual labour with a path to a permanent position after 26 weeks. You’ll work in the underground paste crew supporting backfill, stope prep, ventilation and general services, with opportunities to advance into

Qualifications

• Underground hard rock mining experience required.
• Paste crew or similar underground experience highly regarded.
• Strong safety focus and ability to work in a crew.
• Current driver's licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, repair and maintain paste reticulation and pipework.
• Assist with stope preparation, paste line set-up and pours monitoring.
• Construct paste barricades and establish exclusion zones underground.
• Install ventilation infrastructure and underground services.
• Operate underground equipment such as ITs and work baskets.
