Responsibilities

As a Paste Crew Operator, you will play an essential role in underground paste fill operations, ensuring stopes are safely and effectively backfilled to support ongoing production activities. Working closely with the Underground Production Team, you will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of paste fill systems while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor underground paste fill distribution systems.
• Install, maintain, and relocate paste fill infrastructure and pipelines.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of paste reticulation systems.
• Monitor fill delivery, pressures, and system performance.
• Complete routine maintenance and housekeeping activities.
• Assist with underground services installation and maintenance as required.
• Maintain accurate shift reports and operational records.
• Identify hazards and actively contribute to a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with site procedures, standards, and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will have:

• Previous underground mining experience, preferably in paste fill, service crew, charge-up, or production roles.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively within a high-performing team environment.
• Current driver's licence.
• Relevant underground mining competencies and tickets highly regarded.
