Job summary

Redpath Mining Inc. is seeking a Paste Crew Operator for its Lake Cowal project. You will work in underground paste fill operations, ensuring backfill safety and production support.

The role involves operating, monitoring and maintaining paste fill systems on a 2/2 roster, aligned with the Underground Production Team. The ideal candidate has underground mining experience, strong safety values, and good troubleshooting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Underground mining experience required, preferably in paste fill or production roles.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a high-risk environment.
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Proactive communicator and team player.
• Valid driver's licence and readiness to operate in a rostered schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor underground paste fill distribution systems.
• Install, maintain, relocate paste fill infrastructure and pipelines.
• Inspect and troubleshoot paste reticulation systems.
• Monitor fill delivery, pressures and system performance.
• Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
• Support underground services installation and maintenance as required.
• Maintain shift reports and operational records.
• Identify hazards and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Ensure adherence to site procedures, standards and regulations.
