Job summary

Liontown Resources Limited seeks an experienced Superintendent – Technical Services (Mine Planning) to lead underground planning, ventilation and scheduling at Kathleen Valley. Based on site, FIFO from Perth, you will steer a multidisciplinary team and drive rigorous planning and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Underground Manager, you will ensure safety and value while aligning with governance and regulatory requirements in a Tier-1 lithium operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• Substantial underground hard-rock mining experience including senior technical roles.
• Significant experience in short-, medium- and long-term mine planning.
• Experience integrating geotechnical, geological, survey and ventilation into mine designs.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Strong record in statutory reporting, compliance and governance.
• High proficiency in Deswik and VentSim.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary team of engineers, surveyors, planners and technical officers.
• Oversee mine design, medium-term planning and scheduling aligning with budgets.
• Provide technical guidance to Operations to ensure executable plans.
• Collaborate with Operations, Survey and Geology to resolve production issues.
• Oversee ground support and ventilation design with QA/QC across outputs.
• Ensure outputs comply with mining legislation and governance.
• Lead end-of-month reconciliation with other teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
• Manage relationships with consultants, contractors and regulators.
• Lead safety performance through visible leadership.
