Job summary

Liontown Resources is seeking an Engineer - Production Underground Mining to join our Kathleen Valley operation in Western Australia. You will contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of the underground plan, develop drill and blast designs, and monitor daily production as part of a high-performing team.

The role requires a Mining Engineering degree and 2–5 years of underground production experience, with backfill knowledge and a readiness for pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator, collaborator, and problem-solver.
• Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent underground operational experience.
• Understanding of Australian mining practices and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement drill & blast designs (Deswik or similar).
• Daily production monitoring, tracking, and data analysis.
• Short-term scheduling across development, stoping, services, maintenance, and backfilling.
• Support the ramp-up of stoping activities.
• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to improve performance.
• Contribute to readiness activities for upcoming infrastructure and production changes.
• Be part of the core team ramping up underground lithium production.
