Liontown Limited is expanding its geology team at Kathleen Valley for underground diamond drilling and grade control development. We seek two Experienced Project Geologists to own planning and execution, mentor juniors, and deliver cross-functional technical projects in an operating mine environment.

The roles are full-time and permanent, based at Kathleen Valley with an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, WA, offering a pathway for growth in a high-grade, low-waste operation.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Geology or Earth Sciences.
• Experience in underground production or project geology roles.
• Experience with underground drill design, core logging and QAQC practices.
• Competence in geological software (Datamine StudioGEO) and AcQuire.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Design and prepare drill requests with peer review.
• Contribute to drill scheduling with geology leadership and mine planning.
• Analyse drilling progress to identify drivers of performance and causes of underperformance.
• Identify and drive initiatives to improve drilling performance.
• Manage drilling administration including PLODs and daily compliance tracking.
• Undertake logging and mentor junior team members to maintain standards.
• Validate drilling data to support interpretation and modelling.
• Provide database support and ensure data QAQC.
• Contribute to geological interpretation through wireframing and modelling.
