Perilya Limited in Broken Hill is seeking a skilled Loader Operator for our underground team. This residential role requires a commitment to safety and the ability to operate loaders in production and development areas to meet daily targets.

You will join an experienced crew, perform pre-start checks, and maintain safety standards while contributing to efficient ore and waste movement in a world-class operation.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in underground mining, with loaders/LHDs preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Commitment to safe work practices and site safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground loaders (LHDs) safely and efficiently.
• Load and haul ore and waste to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance.
• Work closely with shift supervisors and underground crews.
• Maintain high safety standards and follow site procedures.
• Assist with general underground duties as required.
