Job summary

Redpath Mining is seeking an experienced Underground Loader Operator for the North Parkes E22 Block Cave development in Parkes, NSW. The role focuses on safe, efficient loading and material handling in an active underground mine.

You will operate underground loaders (LHDs), conduct pre-start checks, muck development and production headings, and work with mining crews to meet targets while maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

Redpath Australia has been selected as the preferred mining contractor for the Northparkes E22 Block Cave Development Project in Parkes, NSW. We are seeking experienced Underground Loader Operators to join our mining operations team and contribute to one of Australia's most significant underground mining developments.

About the Role
As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of underground load haul dump (LHD) equipment to support mine development and production activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate underground loaders (LHDs) safely and efficiently
• Muck development and production headings
• Transport and manage ore and waste material underground
• Conduct pre-start inspections and equipment checks
• Maintain production targets while adhering to safety standards
• Identify and report hazards, incidents and equipment defects
• Work collaboratively with mining crews and supervisors
• Maintain high housekeeping and operational standards

Qualifications

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous underground mining experience operating loaders/LHDs
• Strong understanding of underground mining operations
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence
• Ability to work effectively in a high-performing team environment
• Relevant mining competencies, licences and tickets
• Ability to pass site medical and employment requirements
