Perilya Limited is seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join the Mobile Maintenance Team at the Broken Hill operation. You will diagnose, repair, and service underground mobile plant and equipment, working with a supportive crew in a well-established workshop.

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanic trade qualification.
• Experience with underground mobile plant or mobile maintenance in mining, civil, or heavy industry preferred.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Sharp safety awareness and ability to work as part of a team in underground environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on underground mobile equipment (loaders, trucks, drills).
• Perform scheduled servicing and breakdown maintenance on underground fleet.
• Ensure all maintenance is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow site procedures.
