Job summary

Barminco is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Coordinator for the Great Fingall Operation on a 14/14 FIFO roster from Perth. You will support safe, productive underground mining operations, driving compliance, promoting a positive safety culture and continuous improvement across the project.

The role reports to the Project Manager and involves audits, inductions, hazard management and HSE reporting for site leadership and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in an underground hard rock mine.
• Certificate in OH&S preferred.
• Ability to prioritise workload with urgency and outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure understanding and compliance with Barminco HSE policies and OHS Act.
• Perform safety inspections, hazard analysis and produce written reports.
• Develop and distribute weekly/monthly HSE reports and training materials.
• Conduct regular audits of HSE systems, programs and sites.
• Maintain records to meet corporate, site and regulatory requirements.
• Provide on-site inductions and ensure site compliance for employees and contractors.
• Mentor operational personnel on HSE practices and incident learnings.
• Attend operations and safety meetings and update procedures as needed.
