Job summary

Barminco is seeking an experienced Underground Heavy-Duty Fitter for sites across Western Australia. You will perform planned and breakdown maintenance on our underground fleet, diagnose faults, and carry out hydraulic and pneumatic repairs to reputable site standards.

Join a global mining services group with significant training, career progression, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus plus flights from major Australian cities. FIFO/DIDO options available; safety and compliance are our priorities.

• Experience as an HD Fitter on underground mining equipment.
• Ability to meet all site access requirements (including Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence).

• Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance on underground heavy mining equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs.
• Conduct inspections, servicing, and component change-outs to manufacturer and site standards.
• Complete pre-start checks and ensure equipment is safe and compliant for operation.
• Accurately record maintenance activities and report defects or hazards.
• Work closely with operators and supervisors to minimise machine downtime.

We have opportunities available at sites throughout Western Australia on a variety of rosters.

You’ll deliver a range of underground maintenance activities across our large and diverse fleet of machines and equipment.

Rosters: 14/14 or 8/6/7/7 or 7/7

What will your day to day look like?

• Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance on our underground heavy mining equipment

• Previous experience working as a HD Fitter
• Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence)
