Job summary

Barminco, part of the Perenti Group, is recruiting for an Agitator Operator to support underground concrete works across multiple sites in Western Australia. You will operate an underground agitator truck to transport, place and pour concrete for ground support and mine infrastructure, while adhering to safety and production plans.

Ideal candidates have experience with agitator trucks or heavy equipment, a valid HR licence and mining certifications, and the ability to work well in a team within

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating agitator trucks, concrete equipment and/or heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of underground mining processes and safety standards.
• Valid HR Driver’s Licence and relevant mining certifications.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow detailed mine plans.

Responsibilities

• Operate an underground agitator (Agi) truck to transport and pour concrete.
• Deliver concrete for ground support, slabs, foundations, and infrastructure works.
• Work closely with crews to position and place concrete safely and accurately.
• Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance on the Agi unit.
• Follow underground safety, traffic, and ventilation procedures.

About our Role

Join the Barminco team as an Agitator Operator and play a key role in our underground mining operations with opportunities available at multiple sites throughout Western Australia. You will contribute to safe, efficient underground production using modern concrete agitator trucks to deliver, place, and pour concrete for ground support, infrastructure, and mine development activities.

What will your day to day look like?

• Operate an underground agitator (Agi) truck to transport and pour concrete .
• Deliver concrete for ground support, slabs, foundations, and infrastructure works .

• Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance on the Agi unit .
