Job summary

Barminco, part of the Perenti Group, invites applicants for an Entry Level Underground Miner. You will start on a hands-on team, supporting ground operations and learning essential underground mining skills in a safe, collaborative environment.

Based in Australia, you’ll roster 2:1 and have training opportunities, with pathways to advance into more senior underground roles as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Full Australian working rights.
• National Police Clearance issued within the last three months.

• Working offside the Jumbo Operator, assisting with the installation of bolts and mesh for ground support
• Operating underground dump trucks to haul ore and waste
• Completing pre-start checks on equipment and vehicles
• Learning critical underground mining skills as part of an experienced crew

Entry Level Underground Miner

Your journey with Barminco begins as an Entry Level Underground Miner, working as an underground truck driver and nipper. This role provides a strong foundation and genuine opportunities to progress into a variety of underground mining positions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Working offside the Jumbo Operator, assisting with the installation of bolts and mesh for ground support
