Join the Barminco team as a Cable Bolter and play a key role in our underground mining operations with opportunities available at multiple sites throughout Western Australia. You will contribute to safe, efficient underground production by installing cable bolts in underground rock faces to reinforce ground stability and ensure the overall safety of our ongoing operations.
Operate cable bolting equipment to install ground support in underground headings
Drill holes and install cable bolts, grout, and plates to stabilise rock surfaces
Read and follow ground support plans, standards, and supervisor instructions
Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on cable bolting machinery
Monitor ground conditions and report hazards or changes to the supervisor
Work safely within underground procedures, isolations, and safety systems
Previous experience in underground mining roles in ground support or production roles
Preferably exposure to operating cable bolting or similar equipment
Strong understanding of underground mining processes and safety standards.
Valid Driver's Licence and relevant mining certifications.
Ability to work effectively in a team and follow detailed mine plans.
