Lake Imaging in Geelong seeks a Senior Sonographer to supervise the workflow and perform high-quality ultrasound examinations across MSK, OB, Gyne and general US. You will demonstrate leadership, ensure patient-focused service, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Senior Sonographer with leadership experience in modality supervision.
• ASAR registration and professional indemnity insurance.
• Regularly pursues ongoing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the practice workflow to meet nominated timeframes.
• Perform high quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in line with protocols.
• Familiarise with all equipment to ensure fluent examinations.
• Demonstrate leadership and compassionate patient care.
• Provide high quality, safe, accessible, sustainable service.
• Foster strong communication with patients, relatives and staff.
• Lead Advanced Sonography in MSK, OBs, Gyne and general US.

About The Role

• Supervising the practice workflow to meet nominated timeframes
• Perform high quality medical imaging diagnostic examinations in compliance with protocols
• Be familiar with all equipment and accessories provided so that a fluent examination can be undertaken
• Demonstrate leadership in the treatment patients with care, compassion, dignity, and respect always and without compromise
• Provide high quality and safe service that is accessible and sustainable
• Foster good public relations and communications with your team, patients, relatives, visitors, and the general public
• Advanced Sonography in MSK, OBs, Gyne and general US – share your passion!
• Identifying training for junior Sonographers as required

About You

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a Senior Sonographer, Modality Supervisor, or similar position
• Holds ASAR and professional indemnity insurance
• Regularly participates in further education and continued professional development
• Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Strong attention to detail
• A passionate and 'can-do' attitude
