Lake Imaging Pty Ltd in Geelong is seeking an Ultrasound Supervisor to lead the Ultrasound department, ensuring high-quality, efficient imaging for patients and referrers. You will supervise staff, manage rosters and leave, and drive safe, compassionate care across MSK, OB, Gyne and general ultrasound.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring junior sonographers, and maintaining workflow standards in a busy practice based in Geelong, with support from IDX Group and a commitment to world-class

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a Senior Sonographer or Modality Supervisor role.
• Regular participation in ongoing professional development and education.
• Ability to lead within a multi-disciplinary team and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise ultrasound workflow to meet timeframes.
• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations following protocols.
• Maintain familiarity with equipment to ensure efficient exams.

About The Role

We have the rare opportunity for an Ultrasound Supervisor to join the Lake Imaging team to support the Ultrasound department by maintaining a high quality, efficient services for our patients and referrers; providing leadership and direction to staff under supervision; to managing rosters and leave for technical staff.

• Supervising the practice workflow to meet nominated timeframes
• Perform high quality medical imaging diagnostic examinations in compliance with protocols
• Be familiar with all equipment and accessories provided so that a fluent examination can be undertaken
• Demonstrate leadership in the treatment patients with care, compassion, dignity, and respect always and without compromise
• Provide high quality and safe service that is accessible and sustainable
• Foster good public relations and communications with your team, patients, relatives, visitors, and the general public
• Advanced Sonography in MSK, OBs, Gyne and general US – share your passion!
• Identifying training for junior Sonographers as required

About You

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a Senior Sonographer, Modality Supervisor, or similar position
• Holds ASAR and professional indemnity insurance
• Regularly participates in further education and continued professional development
• Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Strong attention to detail
