Job summary

Lake Imaging in Geelong seeks a Senior Sonographer / Modality Supervisor to lead advanced ultrasound services (MSK, OBs, Gyne and general US). You will supervise the practice workflow, perform high-quality examinations, and mentor junior staff to maintain best-practice standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Sonography team or modality in a clinical setting.

Lake Imaging, founded in 2002, has become the largest radiology provider in central and western Victoria with more than 19 clinics provides a wide range of diagnostic imaging services to the St John of God private hospitals, community-based clinics and speciality centres in Melbourne, Ballarat, Geelong, and Warrnambool.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Supervising the practice workflow to meet nominated timeframes
• Perform high quality medical imaging diagnostic examinations in compliance with protocols
• Be familiar with all equipment and accessories provided so that a fluent examination can be undertaken
• Demonstrate leadership in the treatment patients with care, compassion, dignity, and respect always and without compromise
• Provide high quality and safe service that is accessible and sustainable
• Foster good public relations and communications with your team, patients, relatives, visitors, and the general public
• Advanced Sonography in MSK, OBs, Gyne and general US – share your passion!
• Identifying training for junior Sonographers as required
