Job summary

Lake Imaging is looking for an experienced Sonographer to join our clinics in outer-west Melbourne. You will scan a variety of ultrasound examinations including breast, general, MSK, obstetrics and vascular, working with radiologists and fellow clinicians to deliver high-quality imaging.

Ideal candidates have ASAR accreditation and 2+ years post-graduate experience, with a willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and provide patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• ASAR-accredited medical ultrasound qualification.
• 2+ years post-graduate experience in ultrasound.
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and professional development.
• All-rounder with competency in breast, general, MSK, obstetrics and vascular examinations.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of ultrasound examinations including general, breast, MSK, obstetric and vascular.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to deliver quality imaging results.
• Contribute to education and professional development within the team.

Lake Imaging is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join the team at our clinics in outer-west Melbourne.

Lake Imaging, founded in 2002, has become the largest radiology provider in central and western Victoria with more than 19 clinics providing a wide range of diagnostic imaging services speciality centres in Melbourne north and west, as well as in St John of God private hospitals and community-based clinics in Ballarat, Geelong and Warrnambool. Scan variety of ultrasound examinations including general, breast, MSK, vascular and obstetrics - 1st and 2nd trimester pregnancy, and occasional paediatrics scans.

Qualifications in Medical Ultrasound accredited by the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).

Ideally 2+ years post graduate experience (new graduates welcome to enquire)

A willingness to participate in further education and continued professional development programs.

An all-rounder with competencies in a variety of ultrasound examinations including breast, general, MSK, obstetrics and vascular.

Experience with Siemens and GE ideal.
