Job summary

Lake Imaging is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team at clinics in outer-west Melbourne. You will perform a broad range of ultrasound examinations, collaborate with radiologists, and contribute to excellent patient care.

Ideally you have ASAR accreditation and 2+ years post-graduate experience, with competencies across breast, general, MSK, obstetrics and vascular imaging. Siemens and GE experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Medical Ultrasound accredited by the ASAR.
• Ideally 2+ years post graduate experience.
• Competencies in breast, general, MSK, obstetrics and vascular exams.
• Experience with Siemens and GE is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Scan a variety of ultrasound examinations including general, breast, MSK, vascular and obstetrics (1st/2nd trimester) and paediatrics as required.
• Collaborate with radiologists and professional colleagues.
• Show passion for ultrasound and contribute to patient care.

Lake Imaging is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join the team at our clinics in outer-west Melbourne.

Lake Imaging, founded in 2002, has become the largest radiology provider in central and western Victoria with more than 19 clinics providing a wide range of diagnostic imaging services speciality centres in Melbourne north and west, as well as in St John of God private hospitals and community-based clinics in Ballarat, Geelong and Warrnambool. Scan variety of ultrasound examinations including general, breast, MSK, vascular and obstetrics - 1st and 2nd trimester pregnancy, and occasional paediatrics scans.

Qualifications in Medical Ultrasound accredited by the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).

Ideally 2+ years post graduate experience (new graduates welcome to enquire)

A willingness to participate in further education and continued professional development programs.

An all-rounder with competencies in a variety of ultrasound examinations including breast, general, MSK, obstetrics and vascular.

Experience with Siemens and GE ideal.
