Job summary

Macmahon is hiring Tyre Fitters to join our maintenance team at the Vulcan Coal Mine, south of Moranbah. You will fit tyres on mobile plant, working with experienced colleagues to keep sites safe and productive.

Required: Cert II in Tyre Fitting and tyre fitting experience on Heavy Mobile Equipment, preferably inSurface Mining. Team player with a commitment to safety and quality on-site at Macmahon.

Qualifications

• Cert II in Tyre Fitting.
• Experience tyre fitting Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) ideally in Surface Mining.
• Ability to work as part of a team and step up when needed.
• Commitment to safe work practices and job quality.

Responsibilities

• Tyre fitting on Heavy Earthmoving Equipment in Surface Mining.
• Complete servicing to OEM standards and site procedures.
• Support strong equipment availability and safe, reliable performance.
• Speak-up and contribute to our culture; everyone home safe, every swing.
• Work closely with production and planning teams to schedule work.

About the Role

We are looking for Tyre Fitters to join the team! You’ll carry out tyre fitting on mobile plant across our Project. You’ll work alongside experienced teammates who share knowledge and support each other to get the job done safely and efficiently.

Role Details and Benefits

• Location: Vulcan Coal Mine I Located South of Moranbah
• Roster: 7:7 DIDO
• Rate: Up to $75 per hour (temp to perm)
