Job summary

Macmahon is seeking HD Fitters to join our maintenance team at the Vulcan Coal Mine area. You’ll perform diagnostics, repairs and servicing on heavy mobile equipment, working with a crew that values safety and quality.

The role offers a 7:7 DIDO roster, on-site work south of Moranbah, and a casual hourly rate up to $85, with a comprehensive benefits package including parental leave, discounts, novated leases and wellbeing program.

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised trade is required.
• Experience with Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) ideally in surface mining.
• Ability to work as part of a team and step up when needed.
• Commitment to safe work practices and job quality.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on CAT, Hitachi & Liebherr fleet.
• Complete servicing to OEM standards and site procedures.
• Support strong equipment availability and safe, reliable performance.
• Speak-up and contribute to our culture; everyone home safe, every swing.
• Work closely with production and planning teams to schedule work.

About the Role

We are looking for HD Fitters to join the team! You’ll carry out repairs, servicing and diagnostics on mobile plant across our Project. You’ll work alongside experienced teammates who share knowledge and support each other to get the job done safely and efficiently.
