Job summary

Macmahon is seeking Tyre Fitters to join our maintenance team at Vulcan Coal Mine, located south of Moranbah. You’ll perform tyre fitting on mobile plant across our project, working with skilled teammates who support each other to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates hold a Cert II in Tyre Fitting, with experience fitting tyres on heavy mobile equipment in surface mining, and a proven ability to work as part of a team while maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Tyre fitting on Heavy Earthmoving Equipment.
• Experience with heavy mining tyre service is preferred.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork on site.

Responsibilities

• Tyre fitting on Heavy Earthmoving Equipment in surface mining.
• Complete servicing to OEM standards and site procedures.
• Support strong equipment availability and safe, reliable performance.
• Speak-up and contribute to our culture; everyone home safe, every swing.
• Work closely with production and planning teams to schedule work.

About the Role

We are looking for Tyre Fitters to join the team! You'll carry out tyre fitting on mobile plant across our Project. You'll work alongside experienced teammates who share knowledge and support each other to get the job done safely and efficiently.

Role Details and Benefits

• Location: Vulcan Coal Mine I Located South of Moranbah
• Roster: 7:7 DIDO
• Rate: Up to $75 per hour (temp to perm)
