Job summary

Dreamerlabs in Sydney, Australia, is seeking a Head of Trust & Safety to take ownership of moderation operations for our AI roleplay platform. You will lead investigations, queues, and escalation processes to maintain our high safety standards on one of the world's top AI entertainment sites.

You’ll work closely with founders and engineers, guide contracted moderators, and implement policy-driven decisions in a high-velocity, high-stakes environment where performance and integrity matter most.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in trust and safety or content moderation in a professional setting.
• Comfort with explicit and distressing material on a daily basis.
• Experience escalating serious violations and handling evidence.
• Sound judgement when policies are unclear.
• Discretion handling highly sensitive information.
• Experience leading moderation teams and QA for data labellers.
• Operational ownership of moderation workloads and improving workflows.
• Basic SQL and coding experience to speed investigations.

Responsibilities

• Daily moderation operations: manage reports, bans, appeals, and moderation inboxes.
• Investigations and escalations: trace issues to characters and users and enforce restrictions.
• Judgement calls on edge cases with documented reasoning.
• Oversee moderation and labeling teams and ensure quality data labelling.
• Improve systems by spotting false positives and streamlining workflows.
