Job summary

Calvary is hiring a Part-time Support Worker to assist clients with activities of daily living in their homes and the community. Roles include respite care, social support, and transport services, with flexible hours across days.

Applicants should have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or be working towards one), a valid driver's licence, and strong communication and time-management skills. Proficiency with smartphones, email, and internet is beneficial.

Qualifications

• A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support or working towards.
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence, insured, reliable motor vehicle and smart mobile phone.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
• Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with general domestic tasks, personal care and meal preparation.
• Providing respite care, social support and transport services
• Support clients to achieve their goals and make choices in partnership with other support networks.
• Promote client choice, positive routines and activities ensuring they are meaningful to the client
