Job summary

Calvary is seeking Support Workers to join our Melbourne community care team in a part-time capacity. You will assist clients with daily tasks, personal care, mobility support and medication prompting, while promoting independence and meaningful routines.

Applicants with a Certificate III in Aged Care or related field are preferred. Full training is provided, and we roster based on location to minimise travel for our team.

Qualifications

• Experience in health sector preferred but not required; training provided.
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence is desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and work independently.
• Proficiency with smartphones, email and internet.
• Commitment to care in a mission-based organisation.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily activities (cooking, cleaning, laundry, transport).
• Provide personal care, mobility assistance and medication prompting.
• Assist clients to set and achieve goals in partnership with support networks.
• Promote customer choice and meaningful routines/activities.
