Job summary

Calvary Health Care in Wagga Wagga, NSW is seeking a Support Worker to assist aged, disability and high needs clients with daily living activities and in-home support services. The role covers Domestic Assistance, Social Support and Personal Care in clients' homes and community settings.

The ideal candidate holds a Certificate III in Aged Care or related field (desirable), a valid driving licence with insured vehicle, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support (desirable).
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence with insured vehicle and smartphone.
• Strong communication with customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency with smartphones, email and internet.
• Desire to work in a mission-based organisation.

Responsibilities

• Assist a diverse range of clients (aged, disability, high needs) with activities of daily living.
• Provide Domestic Assistance and Social Support at home and in the community.
• Support Specialist Children and Adult Services, Respite and Personal Care.
