Job summary

Calvary is seeking a Support Worker to help clients with daily living tasks in their homes and community across the Inner West. The role includes domestic tasks, meal prep, and personal care support, with a focus on meaningful activities and client choice.

You will need a current Certificate III in Aged Care or similar (or be working towards it), a valid driver’s licence, and strong communication skills. The role offers flexible hours and part-time arrangements within a supportive,

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or working towards)
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence, insured, reliable motor vehicle and smart mobile phone
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
• Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with general domestic tasks, meal preparation and laundry assistance
• Supporting clients with personal care, respite care, social support and transport services
• Promote client choice, positive routines and activities ensuring they are meaningful to the client
