Job summary

Total Tools & Hardware Group (Part of Metcash) is seeking a Retail Trainer to uplift store teams across SA and WA through face-to-face workshops, virtual sessions and in-store coaching. You will help staff translate product knowledge into confident sales and exceptional customer service.

The role requires hands-on training delivery, collaboration with store leaders, and ongoing development of practical resources, onboarding support and continuous coaching to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Strong coaching and facilitation skills that drive behaviour change.
• Passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.
• Ability to influence, engage and inspire a wide range of audiences.
• Understanding of retail, customer service and sales principles.
• Willingness to travel across SA and WA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging face-to-face and virtual training across our store network in SA and WA.
• Coach team members on the shop floor to improve customer service, sales skills and product confidence
• Create training programs and learning resources that are practical, engaging and easy to apply
• Partner with store leaders to identify capability gaps and drive development initiatives
• Support new team member onboarding and ongoing skills development
• Build strong relationships across the store network and provide ongoing coaching and support
