Job summary

Crystalbrook Kingsley in Newcastle seeks a dedicated Chef de Partie to own a designated kitchen section and assist the Exec and Head Chefs in delivering high‑quality dishes. You will coach junior staff, maintain hygiene and presentation standards, and contribute to seasonal menus.

This full‑time CDP role requires a trade cooking qualification, Australian work rights, and flexibility across early morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Actively share ideas to improve environment and menus.
• Maintain consistency for a la carte and buffet menus per recipes and standards.
• Communicate effectively with team and seek guest feedback.
• Demonstrate confidence in preparation and cooking techniques.
• Monitor dish quality from prep to presentation.
• Work closely with the team in all kitchen operations.
• Follow established food safety and handling guidelines.
• Manage stock rotation, monitor stock levels, assist with food costing.
• Respect and apply Work Health & Safety procedures.
