Job summary

Crystalbrook Sam in Adelaide is seeking a skilled and passionate chef to confidently run a kitchen section within our busy hotel restaurant, ensuring every service meets high standards of flavour and presentation. You will organise daily preparation, guide Demi and Commis Chefs and collaborate with senior culinary leaders to use produce thoughtfully, reduce waste and contribute fresh ideas.

This full-time role operates on a seven-day rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public

Qualifications

• Experience confidently running a section within a busy restaurant, hotel or comparable kitchen.
• Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for quality produce, flavour and presentation.
• Experience guiding, training and supporting junior chefs.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Productive organisation and attention to detail to effectively manage preparation, stock and service priorities.
• A positive, team-focused approach, coupled with clear communication.
• An appreciation for responsible sourcing seasonal produce and reduce food waste.
