Zusammenfassung

Life Without Barriers Education is expanding its Newcastle campus to deliver inclusive, engaging learning for young people re-engaging in education. You will work with Youth Workers to create trauma-informed, culturally responsive classrooms that support wellbeing and successful transitions back into education.

Successful candidates hold a teaching qualification, NSW/NSW equivalent accreditation and a current driver’s licence.

• Experience engaging with families and community partners

Aufgaben

• Plan and deliver engaging learning programs for disengaged or at-risk students
• Create an inclusive, culturally responsive environment that supports wellbeing and engagement
• Apply trauma-informed and therapeutic practices to manage behaviours and promote positive outcomes
• Build relationships with students, families, and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with Youth Workers and other staff to support transitions back into education
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to a safe, compliant learning environment
