Life Without Barriers Education is expanding its Newcastle campus for 2027, offering permanent full-time teaching roles to support disengaged young people back into education. You will deliver flexible, engaging learning in a supportive, trauma-informed environment.

Join a dedicated team; expect collaboration with Youth Workers, families, and community agencies to ensure successful transitions and ongoing wellbeing. Commencement January 2027 and a strong focus on inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Education are required.
• Active NSW Teacher Accreditation or ability to obtain per NSW guidelines.
• Provide First Aid HLTAID011 certification or willingness to obtain before commencement.
• Strong ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learner needs.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging learning programs for disengaged or at-risk youth.
• Create an inclusive, culturally responsive and trauma‑informed learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with students, families and community agencies.
• Collaborate with Youth Workers and external teams to support transitions and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance, and participate in professional development.
