Job summary

Uniting Counselling and Mediation in Campbelltown is seeking a compassionate Intake and Administration Officer for a part-time 28-hour week contract. You will manage intake interviews, screen for safety, and coordinate client records at the Campbelltown Family Relationship Centre.

You will work within a supportive team, maintaining confidentiality and upholding mandatory reporting. The role requires empathy, strong admin skills, and experience with diverse communities; training in Accidental

Qualifications

• Certificate or higher in social welfare / behavioural science (1–3 years experience preferred).
• Experience supporting individuals in distress or crisis in community, counselling or health settings.
• Strong organisation, data entry and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to explain services and legal concepts clearly to clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake interviews and 3 appointments per day, followed by case administration.
• Gather demographics, assess issues, and perform safety and risk screening.
• Create and manage client files and records, coordinate appointments and communications.
