Uniting Counselling & Mediation in Wollongong seeks an Intake and Administration Officer for a part-time 28 hours/week contract. The role involves intake interviews, safety screening, referrals, and providing clear information on family law basics and services.

Formación

• Demonstrated experience managing individuals in distress or crisis, ideally in community, counselling, or health settings.
• Ability to explain services and family law concepts with empathy and clarity.
• Experience handling confidential information and following reporting protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct intake appointments and manage client files and notes.
• Screen for safety, assess risk, and coordinate referrals and information on services and fees.
• Provide compassionate, trauma-informed client support and deescalate when needed.
• Support reception, invoicing and general admin duties; participate in team meetings.
