The Salvation Army Australia is seeking a Specialist Family Violence Practitioner to provide outreach case management for adult and child victim-survivors. Based in Windsor, VIC, this fixed-term full-time role involves assessment, crisis response, and ongoing support within a feminist, trauma-informed framework.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will develop individual case plans, connect clients to holistic services, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Social Work or a related field (essential).
• Experience in case management within family violence or related community services.
• Understanding of family violence frameworks, risk assessment and trauma-informed practice.
• Advanced computer skills, including experience with data and record management systems.
• A current Victorian Driver’s Licence (essential).
• A Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (essential).

Responsabilités

• Provide outreach case management support to adult and child victim-survivors.
• Assessment, crisis response, and ongoing support to access safety, recovery and wellbeing outcomes.
• Deliver trauma-informed family violence and child wellbeing responses that empower victim-survivors.
• Reporting to the Team Leader; fixed-term full-time position, based in Windsor, VIC, until June 2028.
