Job summary

The Salvation Army is recruiting three full-time Case Managers to join the Far West Family Violence Service in New South Wales. You will provide client-led support to women and children escaping domestic and family violence, developing personalised case plans and facilitating access to essential services.

Role involves risk assessment, advocacy, partnerships with community services and helping clients achieve safe, stable accommodation and recovery.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in social work, psychology or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in family violence, risk assessment, case management and recovery support.
• Knowledge of DFV advocacy, referral pathways and working with clients with complex needs.
• Strong communication, advocacy and relationship-building skills.
• Current driver’s licence, Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
• Commitment to mandatory training including Code of Conduct, WHS and Bullying and Harassment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, client-led support to women and children impacted by domestic and family violence.
• Empower clients to develop personalised case plans and access essential services.
• Assist clients to enhance safety and work towards stable accommodation, recovery and independence.
• Conduct risk assessments and advocate for clients; build partnerships with community services.
• Support day-to-day operations of refuges and participate in team activities.
• Participate in rostered after-hours on-call service as required.
