Job summary

Yerrabi Yurwang Child is recruiting a Family Practitioner, Domestic Family & Sexual Violence (DFSV), to provide trauma-informed, culturally safe case management for women and children experiencing DFSV. The role works across housing, legal, and child protection with a focus on safety and empowerment within the NarraGunnaWali Program.

The successful candidate will hold a caseload of 10-12 families, participate in CAEC clearances, and collaborate with partners to deliver integrated services in

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Community Services, Social Work, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in DFSV, homelessness, or related sectors.
• Current WWVP registration or equivalent and current driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trauma-informed, strengths-based case management for women and children escaping DFSV.
• Coordinate with housing, health, legal, child protection, and other services to provide wraparound support.
• Maintain accurate case notes and reporting in line with funding requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and team collaboration.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to program planning and training.
