Job summary

Wandiyali is seeking a clinician to join the Yimaliko (DFV YPP) team in NSW. The role focuses on early intervention for 10–17 year-olds affected by domestic and family violence, grounded in SEWB and culturally responsive practice.

You will work with families, provide trauma-informed support, assess risk, plan safety, and help with case management while building partnerships with YAMS and other services. The organisation emphasises child safety, cultural safety, and community engagement; closing

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Community Services, Psychology, or equivalent.
• Experience with Aboriginal communities and youth justice/DFV sector.
• Strong knowledge of DFV and vulnerabilities; case management experience.
• Good communication and conflict resolution; interagency relationships.
• Organisational and time-management skills; balance crisis response with casework.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive support to children and families with complex needs.
• Contribute to Yimaliko program quality assurance processes.
• Establish effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including YAMS.
