The Benevolent Society invites applications for a Case Worker to join our dynamic team, supporting women and children experiencing domestic and sexual violence. This DFV Specialist role uses trauma-informed, person-centred approaches to tailor flexible case management and coordinate services with partner agencies.

Based in Campbelltown on Dharawal Country, the role offers hybrid work arrangements, salary packaging options and a commitment to diversity.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary (degree) qualification in social work, community services or similar.
• Demonstrated 3–4+ years in case management within a complex support environment.
• Proven experience supporting women impacted by trauma, domestic and family violence, mental health challenges, or other adversities.
• Strong ability to assess and respond to clients in crisis and identify referral pathways.
• Knowledge of child protection frameworks and mandatory reporting obligations.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to prioritise competing demands.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to develop, implement, monitor, and review tailored support plans.
• Coordinate brokerage to ensure timely and appropriate support services.
• Engage clients using best-practice assessment frameworks and risk minimisation strategies.
• Maintain transparent plans with clients and partner agencies.
• Collaborate with key service providers, including government departments and community agencies.
• Partner with stakeholders such as women’s DV court advocacy services, police, Centrelink, and housing services to support positive outcomes.
