Job summary

People Group is hiring a Transport Allocator in Scoresby to manage daily load planning and coordinate with Independent Contractors. The role focuses on ensuring on-site fleet availability, efficient route execution, and proactive issue resolution to meet client expectations.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on allocations experience for construction materials, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication. Excellent MS Office skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute the daily load and route plan for channel deliveries.
• Direct Independent Contractors in daily load execution.
• Ensure fleet vehicles are on site as required.
• Adhere to predetermined daily load quantities for contractors.
• Monitor loads to ensure client service delivery.
• Address issues promptly and find solutions.
• Control daily/weekly revenue plan and record paperwork.
• Communicate delivery/pickup issues with clients and customers.
• Perform Fatigue Management audit requirements.
• Report incidents or non-conformances to management.
• Pursue weekly 100% toolbox/safety bulletin compliance.
• Contact potential drivers and verify requirements.
• Complete KPI reports; after-hours support for unfinished routes.

Key Responsibilities

• The daily load and route plan for all channel deliveries is executed.
• Direct the Independent Contractors in their execution of the daily load and route plan.
• Ensure permanently placed fleet vehicles are on site.
• Abide by the predetermined daily load quantities for Independent Contractors.
• Monitor daily loads to ensure service delivery to clients.
• Ensure all issues are dealt with immediately and a solution found as they arise.
• Control and monitor the daily and weekly revenue plan.
• Compile all relevant required paperwork from previous day and ensure data is entered.
• Communicate all delivery/pickup issues with Contractual Clients and other customers.
• Perform the Fatigue Management audit requirements,
• Immediately report any incidents accidents or non-conformance to Management.
• Chase up any outstanding Toolbox/ Safety Bulletins to achieve a weekly 100% target
• Contact potential drivers and ensure all requirements are met to commence with the company
• Complete all KPI reports as required
• After hours contact for end of day unfinished routes.
• Assist in all areas in your work environment

Shift

• Time : 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
• Days : Monday to Friday
