Job summary

DSE Transport is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our Sydney metro team. Based at Minchinbury, you will support the afternoon shift by moving jobs, tracking drivers, updating customers and ensuring nothing is left hanging at day end.

You will also help with planning for the following day and maintain accurate notes, bookings, and driver availability in our transport system. A calm, precise communicator is essential in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing or dispatch.
• Ability to stay calm with multiple tasks in progress.
• Clear, direct communication across drivers, customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Allocating customer jobs to drivers and tracking them through the day.
• Answering calls and emails from customers and drivers, with a 15 minute response standard.
• Watching unassigned jobs and keeping runs on schedule.
• Keeping job notes, bookings and driver availability accurate in our system.
• Chasing outstanding runsheets and paperwork so the admin team can bill cleanly.
• Daily compliance and fatigue checks.
• Logging customer service issues, delays and breakdowns before you go home.
• Covering the allocators when they are on leave.
