Job summary

DSE Transport Pty Ltd is seeking an Operations Coordinator to sit on the Sydney metro operations desk at Minchinbury. You will oversee the afternoon workflow, keep jobs moving, track drivers, and keep customers updated to ensure no tasks are left unfinished at day’s end.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, with no early 5am starts, and a supportive team environment that values training and internal growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing or dispatch.
• Ability to stay calm with a phone in one hand and three jobs to move.
• Clear, direct communication with drivers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Allocate customer jobs to drivers and track them through the day.
• Answer calls and emails from customers and drivers with a 15 minute response standard.
• Monitor unassigned jobs and keep runs on schedule.
• Maintain accurate job notes, bookings and driver availability.
• Chase outstanding runsheets and paperwork for clean billing by admin.
• Perform daily compliance and fatigue checks.
• Log customer service issues, delays and breakdowns before finishing the day.
• Cover allocators when they are on leave.
