Job summary

Centurion, a premier Australian logistics company, is seeking an experienced transport leader to oversee day-to-day operations at the Perth Airport Depot with a focus on projects. You will lead drivers, allocate fleet and coordinate rostering to ensure safe, compliant service delivery while building strong customer relationships.

You will manage project operations, drive efficiency, support driver wellbeing and uphold fatigue management and CoR compliance across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teams in transport or logistics.
• Knowledge of fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
• Strong planning, rostering and workforce coordination skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with drivers and customers.
• Proactive safety, compliance and service delivery mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day transport and project operations at Perth Airport Depot.
• Build strong customer relationships to maintain and grow work.
• Provide strong leadership to drivers and operations teams.
• Coordinate daily trip movements, fleet allocation and equipment.
• Manage driver rosters and workforce planning for coverage.
• Ensure compliance with fatigue management and CoR requirements.
• Monitor freight movements and maintain accurate manifests.
• Coordinate depots and stakeholders with clear communication.
• Address operational issues and service delays with decisive action.
• Support driver performance, engagement and retention through communication.
• Ensure licenses, medicals and mandatory compliance are current.
• Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with People & Capability on performance and workplace matters.
• Participate in weekend work and rotational after-hours roster.
